Mike is the Business Director for PNC's Corporate and Institutional Banking Technology Group and is responsible for strategic and tactical planning, valuing and prioritizing projects and resource and budget allocations.  He manages the group's Program Management Office activities including reporting, communications and compliance to minimize operational risk.

Just prior to his role in IT, Mike managed the development of next generation decisioning and optimization capabilities for the retail division of the bank to support the sales process for customer product selection, product bundling, demand based pricing and credit underwriting.

He has also held positions as product manager for home equity and education finance products as well as holding roles in marketing and sales support.

A 1996 graduate of GSRBM, Mike has also earned an MBA with a concentration in Finance and a BA in English from the University of Pittsburgh.  Also, he has just begin work on his Project Management Institute Certification.

He had been with Integra since March, 2001.

Nancy Bush made her jump to the "sell-side" of Wall Street in 1985, after having been a portfolio manager and analyst at Sentinel Advisors, the mutual fund advisory arm of National Life of VT. She joined the old Philadelphia brokerage firm of Butcher & Singer in November of that year, and quickly made her mark with the "Banking Quarterly Review," making that publication one of the most-often quoted and widely read brokerage publications in the Middle Atlantic region. In 1987, she moved to the big-time-New York City-as the regional banking analyst at Dean Witter Reynolds, where she expanded her coverage from the Middle Atlantic to include SE and Western banking companies. From there, she moved to the venerable Wall Street firm Brown Brothers Harriman in 1990, serving as Senior Banking Analyst and later also as Assist Director of Research. Forsaking the interminable Wall Street commute in 1998, she joined Ryan, Beck & Co., a Livingston, NJ, financial services boutique, as a Senior Bank Analyst and-after a short return to NY to work as senior banking analyst at Prudential-later returned to Ryan, Beck as Director of Financial Institutions Group Research. Throughout her sell-side career, she has tracked the progress of companies such as Wachovia, Wells Fargo, Bank of America and SunTrust, among others, through their evolutions from smaller regional banks into today's mega-regionals. Nancy has also been a sought-after speaker in the banking industry.

Allison is the Area Director for the retail branches in the San Mateo North Santa Clara County Area in the Northwest Division in California.  Allison oversees 16 financial centers, and is responsible for the consumer, business and credit functions as well as the investment and insurance business.

 

Allison has 29 years experience in the financial service industry- all with Citibank.  She began her career in our financial centers, and has held a number of roles within the company including Financial Center Manager, Area Operations Manager, Marketplace Service Manager, Area Manager and most recently Region Sales Integration Manager for the former San Francisco Bay Region.  As a line manager, Allison has managed all aspects of running our branches from sales productivity, P & L results, customer experience and employee experience.  In her staff roles, Allison completed analytics on our service performance- working with vendors to conduct Mystery Shops and customer satisfaction studies- leveraging the learnings to develop process and behavioral improvements for our business.  As the RSIM, Allison partnered with our marketing team, area managers, region manager and our various segments to ensure integration of sales and marketing within the region.

 

Allison has her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the College of Notre Dame, and is a 2006 graduate of the Consumer Bankers Association Graduate School of Retail Bank Management at the University of Virginia.

Professor Kemp is an accomplished scholar, conducting research and writing in the theory and practice of contemporary business. He currently is conducting research on the funding of financial institutions and corporate pensions. His scholarly works include 70 completed projects, including monographs, articles, cases, research presentations, and working papers. His work is published in, among other places, Financial Review; Journal of Financial Research; Advances in Accounting; Benefits Quarterly; Journal of Mathematics Applied in Business and Industry; Journal of Accountancy; Journal of Commercial Bank Lending; The Journal of Bank Accounting & Auditing; and Journal of Business Economics. Professor Kemp is an accomplished teacher to both University students and executives throughout the world. During his 25+ years at the UVA, he has taught numerous undergraduate and graduate courses. His consistently high evaluations by students reflect his devotion to the classroom. This high quality is likewise seen in his teaching of business executives. Robert M. Kottler joined Hibernia, now Capital One, in 1983. A Cleveland native, he has 20 years of banking experience-all with Hibernia-and had served in several management positions with Hibernia, including manager of the Small Business Banking Service Center, Small Business Banking and Marketing and Delivery Channel Management. He was named an executive vice president in 1999. In May 2003, Kottler was named Chief Sales Support Officer and senior executive vice president. He is responsible for all sales-support functions, including marketing, product management, delivery channel management, and loan and branch operations, as well as consumer and small business lending. Under Kottler's guidance in the 1990s, Hibernia became a leader in developing innovative products and services for small business customers. In 1992, the bank became a pioneer in the use of automated credit scoring for small businesses, and the success of its efforts has garnered national attention. He holds a bachelor of science degree in management and a master's degree in business administration, each from Tulane University. He is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Retail Bank Management, Consumer Bankers Association. He specialized in the teaching of investment finance and banking, and has written in the area of bank mutual fund distribution. Paul has taught bank financial management in many countries including South Africa, Tunisia, Japan, Italy, Belgium, Jordan, Jamaica and most recently in India and Qatar. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Concordia University in Montreal and is a CFA charter holder.

Abhishek Mehta is the Strategic Advisor to the Center for Future Banking, the recently announced collaboration with MIT Media Lab.  In this position Abhishek is responsible for the Bank's overall strategy and direction for Center, development of the MIT Sloan collaboration and creation of frameworks for business, innovation and investment strategies.  Abhishek is also an Executive with Bank of America's Corporate Financial Analysis Team. This team  is responsible for assessing the competitive position and performance of Bank of America's businesses, identifying strategic priorities for the corporation, and recommending strategic alternatives with a particular focus on cross-line-of-business issues.   Abhishek has been with Bank of America since July 2002. Prior to joining the Bank, Abhishek was responsible for developing and managing sales & execution strategies for Cognizant Technology Solutions and was a tax, regulatory and business strategy consultant with Arthur Andersen.  Abhishek has lived and worked in South-east Asia, Europe and the US.   Abhishek holds a Bachelors in Commerce Degree from the Sri Ram College of Commerce (University of Delhi, India), is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Graduate of the Consumer Bankers Associations' School of Retail Banking Management (United States).  Abhishek is on the Board of Advisors for the Asian Leadership Network and a past Board member of the Diversity Network, both at Bank of America.   Abhishek is also on the Board of a non-profit institution that helps provide education and vocational training to mentally challenged kids in India.

Sherief is a Managing Director with Novantas in the New York office and is the head of Novantas' Retail Banking practice. He has been a consultant to financial institutions for fifteen years. He has served leading financial institutions in North America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East across every financial services line of business, with particular emphasis in consumer banking, small business banking, brokerage, and investments. Sherief focuses on business strategy development, product development, analytic pricing and data-driven marketing. Prior to Novantas he was a Senior Consultant with First Manhattan Consulting Group.

Sherief is a well-regarded player in the field of retail banking. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, including the Bank Administration Institute, American Bankers Association, Consumer Bankers Association, and American Banker conferences. Sherief is also a frequent writer on topics such as segmentation, pricing, and product development and has been published in American Banker, Banking Strategies, Commercial Lending Review, and Small Business Banker, among other publications.

Sherief received his AB in economics from Harvard University and his MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management.

Cathy Myers is the SVP over Retail Banking Operations for US Bank in Dayton, Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Louisville and Nashville areas. She oversees 117 banking offices, 800 employees, 239,657 checking customers and $4 billion in deposits. Cathy earned her undergraduate degree with honors from West Virginia University and a master's degree from Xavier University with a focus in marketing. She has been in banking 20 years with experience in sales, sales management, operations, systems development, and lending. As a wife, mother and company executive, she is supportive of work/life balance and diversity. She regularly attends new employee orientation encouraging employees to make the most of their careers with US Bank. She maintains an open door for career development and personal coaching, mentoring not only her direct reports but also other aspiring employees. Cathy helped begin the Hispanic Initiative within the St. Louis market and was the leader of their Community Development Task Force. Linda Need is the Insurance & Annuity Executive for Bank of America's Global Wealth & Investment Management Division. She is responsible for life, long-term care and disability income insurances and annuity product management, sales and operations. Need joined Bank of America in 2002 as the Strategy Executive for the Insurance Services Group. She was appointed National Sales Executive of the Affluent/High Net Worth Insurance Sales Team in 2003 and Insurance and Annuity Executive in 2005. Before joining the bank, Need was Executive Director and National Sales Executive, Insurance Services at Morgan Stanley from 1998-2002. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Linda held sales, marketing and actuarial positions at Allstate Life Insurance Company from 1986-1997, Tillinghast/Towers Perrin from 1984-1986 and Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance from 1978-1984. Linda graduated from Williams College with a bachelor's in Mathematics and Economics. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, a Chartered Financial Analyst, a Certified Financial Planner and registered general securities principal. A native Australian, Sean has lived and worked in six countries. In 2005 Sean was recruited to join the Royal Bank of Scotland in Edinburgh. In his role as Chief Credit Officer - UK Retail he was accountable for annual Bad Debts in excess of $3bn USD. Sean was recognized as a world class expert in Retail Banking when he was tapped in 2007 to lead a business transformation initiative across the UK Retail Bank, a business that delivers in excess of $7bn in annual profits with a 16 million strong customer base. Sean returned to the USA in 2008 as the Chief Credit Officer of Citizens Financial Group in order to help steer the business through the emerging economic and financial crisis. Prior to joining the Royal Bank of Scotland, Sean worked at Citibank in Australia, General Electric in Australasia and 7 years at Washington Mutual in Seattle where he successfully held numerous executive positions. Most notably, he was the Retail Bank executive in charge of California across to Florida responsible for over 1,100 branches, a staff of over 12,000 and an annual post-tax profit in excess of $1.5bn. Dr. Ed Seifried is Professor of Economics and Business at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. He is the Chief Economist for BNK Advisory Group, a community bank investment firm. He received his doctorate in economics and business from West Virginia University. He serves as the dean of the West Virginia Banking School. In addition to his courses at Lafayette College, he is also a faculty member of numerous banking schools including: Stonier Graduate School of Banking, School of Banking of the South, Graduate School of Retail Bank Management, and the American Bankers Association Business of Banking School. He is a professional labor arbitrator and frequently appears as a guest speaker at regional and national conferences. He has delivered over 2000 presentations to groups both in the U.S. and abroad. He is an author of both academic and popular articles and books. Ed has also served as a director of a community bank. He has traveled in the former Soviet Bloc countries where he served as an advisor and consultant to the newly privatized commercial banks.

John F. Stewart recently retired from Citigroup.  He most recently served as Citibank's Managing Director of National Distribution.  In this role, he is responsible for the 885-branch network within the United States and Puerto Rico and consumer business in Canada that employs over 16,000 Citibankers and serves over 3 million customers.  As a 25-year veteran of Citigroup he has previously served as President of Citibank New York, President and CEO of Diners Club Canada and Managing Director of the Atlantic Division of the Citifinancial consumer finance business.  John serves on the Board of Directors of both the Consumer Bankers Association, based in Washington, DC and the New York Bankers Association.  He is also a member of the advisory boards for Together in America/NYANA, Make-A-Wish Foundation of Metro New York & the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society New York City Chapter Board and has joined Representative Sue Kelly's (R-NY) Financial Services Advisory Council.  Prior to joining Citibank, John was a Captain in the United States Army.  He is a graduate of the United State Military Academy at West Point, NY and holds an MBA from Columbia University.

Kurt Treu is President of U.S. Bank in Northeast Ohio and is responsible for the bank's commercial banking operations in the Greater Cleveland and Akron area. Kurt, a native of Cleveland, returned to his hometown of Cleveland from Minneapolis in 2004, where he was Senior Vice President and Market Manager, responsible for U.S. Bank's largest branch market and approximately 1,000 employees in the Twin Cities. His banking career spans 23 years, 14 of which have been with U.S. Bank and its legacy Star Banc and Firstar. Kurt's commitment doesn't end with banking, as he has been active in the community throughout his career. Currently he serves on the Cleveland State University Foundation Board, Cuyahoga Community College Foundation Board, United Way, Greater Cleveland Sports Commission, Downtown Cleveland Alliance, Providence House, Cuyahoga County Commissioners Blue Ribbon Task Force and is a member of the Leadership Cleveland Class of 2006. A graduate of Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, Kurt earned his master's degree in business from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio and is a graduate of CBA's Graduate School of Retail Banking at the University of Virginia where he now teaches a Bank-Simulation program annually. Kurt grew up on the East Side of Cleveland in Mayfield Village. He, his wife, Chris, and daughter now live in Solon.
